Account Executive


Mono Solutions is looking for a talented Account Executive to join our team in Copenhagen and our growing business, serving thousands of websites across 30+ markets.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales profile with proven experience in B2B SaaS enterprise sales. The Account Executive will identify and qualify potential enterprise customers (e.g., large digital marketing agencies, SaaS companies, online directories that sell websites to SMBs and build them on our website building platform), and ultimately move these conversations to closed sales. The Account Executive will play a key role in Mono’s continued growth and success.

Your Responsibilities:

The Account Executive is expected to fully execute and drive the sales process with enterprise prospects. The focus will be on hunting and closing new enterprise/medium-sized customers and developing growth strategies to drive the highest possible value and returns for Mono Solutions.

  • Develop and continuously update the company’s sales strategy and playbook, with clear/detailed action items to execute on (e.g., determining which industries and geographies to target).
  • Leverage previous proven experience and success in B2B SaaS enterprise sales.
  • Fully manage and own the entire sales process from first contact to understanding the prospect’s tech requirements to contract and pricing negotiations to closing the sale.
  • Proactively follow up on new leads, taking full ownership of these relationships, meetings, and presentation materials.
  • Lead pricing and contract negotiations with prospect, building business cases (if needed) to evaluate the revenue and ROI impact and developing offers for leadership team to provide final review/signoff
  • Manage all contacts, deals, and activities in HubSpot
  • Continuously fill the sales pipeline with new leads by attending conferences, leveraging your network, conducting online research, then establishing contact with these potential leads via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Be willing to travel to visit prospects and to attend conferences to capture leads
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts based on ongoing deal activity and track sales KPIs
  • Provide commercial input/feedback to the tech team as needed (e.g., to determine roadmap prioritization)
  • Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of Mono’s products and the broader digital marketing industry that serves SMBs

This position requires strong experience with B2B SaaS enterprise sales. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and proactive individual, has strong communication skills, and enjoys pitching to potential customers. Furthermore, the ideal candidate is goal and performance oriented, has a structured approach and thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment. What we expect:

  • 5-8 years of proven experience in B2B SaaS enterprise sales.
  • Competitive, highly energetic candidate who is familiar with B2B digital marketing and sales processes.
  • Attention to detail in the administrative aspect of the sales cycle, strong organizational skills, and desire to take full ownership.
  • Strong professionalism and desire to work independently in a dynamic international environment.
  • Flexibility to travel to visit sales prospects and go to conferences.
  • Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexible working style and ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and leads.
