[xxxxx] Wind Systems A/S Global Sales

Global Sales, is part of the CSO EVP area in [xxxxx], and is responsible for the global enablement of our commercial activities across [xxxxx]' 5 regions. In Global Sales we support the escalation of key deals, match supply/demand and provide strategic support on commercial topics to the regional sales teams, to name a few activities. The wider team consists out of a Global Sales Director for each of [xxxxx]' regions, as well as key account management, product market strategy and global sales management.

Responsibilities

The Global Sales Director is the main regional anchor in the Global Sales team for one of [xxxxx]' regions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing key deals that go through the escalation path up to executive management
  • Providing commercial guidance and support to the regions
  • Identifying optimization areas for your dedicated region on commercial terms, pricing, resource utilization, etc.
  • Enabling your allocated region by connecting the right resources from global functions to the deal teams, eg value engineering and product market strategy
  • Tracking and supporting timely and accurately forecasted order intake throughout every quarter, providing regular updates to the CSO management team
  • Supporting cross-regional initiatives

Qualifications

  • Solid professional experience, proven sales and project management experience - ideally within wind energy, power plants, infrastructure, or the construction industry
  • Experience with being involved on a commercial side in large complex projects and can articulate the consequences from a commercial and contractual point of view
  • Significant stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • The ability to express leadership effectively and influence others to ensure effective accomplishments
  • Present information professionally and convincingly to ensure high perception, acceptance, and understanding
  • Understand, link, and examine information to understand issues, identify options, and support sound decision-making
  • Innovative and forward-thinking, so critical situations are mitigated ahead of time
  • Solid political understanding and mindset both internally and externally
  • A high degree of flexibility and adaptability

Competencies

  • Solid commercial understanding and deal-making capability
  • Highly proficient in networking
  • In-depth understanding of the commercial aspects of complex solutions/ products and will be required to translate this knowledge into a customer value proposition
  • Good financial understanding of large projects
  • Solid business and value chain understanding
