The Role – Drive Sales and Strengthen Customer Relationships

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing key accounts, with a strong focus on Vestas, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities within the wind energy sector. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will play a crucial role in maintaining long-term customer relationships, ensuring sales growth, and working closely with technical teams to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Take responsibility for an existing large account (Vestas) and expand business opportunities within the wind industry.
  • New Business Development: Prospect for new customers and projects within wind energy and offshore sectors.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute sales plans for key customers, ensuring long-term growth and alignment with Dokka Fasteners’ commercial strategy.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive sales efforts, customer visits, and regular follow-ups.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical departments, internal and external sales teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Project Management: Ensure smooth implementation of agreements, coordinating internally to align sales with production, quality, and pricing.
  • Industry Presence: Represent Dokka Fasteners at industry fairs and events, strengthening our market position.
  • International Exposure: Frequent travel to customers, production sites in Norway and industry trade fairs.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven sales professional who is passionate about customer relationships and technical sales. The ideal candidate has:

  • Technical or commercial sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical products and industrial sales, preferably within wind energy or heavy engineering.
  • Proven track record in key account management and business development.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Fluency in Danish and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), ERP and CRM systems.
  • A structured and strategic approach to sales, combined with a hands-on mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50-100 days per year).

Location

The position is in Brande, Denmark, with frequent travel to customers, Dokka production facilities in Norway, and industry events.
