Reporting to the IMMS Business Director, the IMMS Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and developing new IMMS sales opportunities through face-to-face meetings, attendance at industry events and online engagement with libraries. This role is also a product expert demonstrating all aspects of IMMS (Intelligent Material Management System) for libraries across the world and supports the initiatives of the Lyngsoe Systems sales teams.

IMMS is a unique application in the library industry, delivering significant efficiencies and benefits. Efficiencies enable staff to spend a higher percentage of their time focusing on events and community engagement and less on handling physical material. Collection management benefits come from the automation of exhibition display, floating collections without the challenges of pooling and drought of material, and efficiencies from behind-the-scenes use of a chaotic storage model.
