We have an exciting opportunity to join our team of Global Account Mangers. The position is an integral part in developing our business and has responsibility for the development and maximization of business opportunities for profitable growth with the assigned key customer for the portfolio of our Service Business Unit.
- Generates knowledge on the customer's specific strategy and its political and business environment.
- You will analyse customer's markets, position and needs and investigates for specific business opportunities
- Defines and implements the account business plan (3 to 5 years).
- We will want you to Prepare customer contacts and build and maintain a sound customer focused network on all strategically relevant hierarchical levels, incl. leadership of Operations and Maintenance Functions.
- Review operational performance of the key customer's assets with the customer management, technology and procurement functions
- You will manage customer complaints as point of escalation, if necessary.
- You will use your skills to leverage relationships to identify opportunities in new contracts, contract renewals or win-backs and aftermarket opportunities for Siemens Gamesa.
- In coordination with the regional service sales functions: Initiates, facilitates and contributes to contract negotiations for products, projects and service or solution assignments, including framework agreement, aftermarket (spares) offers etc.
- Coordinates activities related to the assigned key customers with Onshore and Offshore Business units and the Service Regions / Functions,.The assigned key customers will be generally financial investors and Independent Power Producers active in the wind industry.
What you need to make a difference
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
- You will possess a degree level qualification in either Engineering or a finance discipline, ideally, we would love you to also have a master’s level degree
- Excellent organisation skills and be able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements
- You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in Sales Leadership, Operations Leadership or in Asset Management. All these would have to be in the context of renewable energy, preferably wind
- You are a strong communicator who has the ability to influence others
- We want you demonstrate a goal orientated attitude
- You will demonstrate good analytical skills and ability to understand the requirements of the business and our customers
- You will need to be fluent both written and verbal in English, additional language skills in either German, French or Spanish would also be great, but not essential
