Senior Technical Sales Manager - Food Ingredients

KMC is looking for a customer oriented, technically sound and experienced profile for an exciting role as Senior Technical Sales Manager.
The position
With reference to the Technical Sales Director, you will be part of the global technical sales team providing technical service and implementing ingredients solutions to food manufacturers worldwide. You will be responsible across segments and geographical markets to handle customer projects together with the commercial responsible for your markets. This includes:
Together with the Commercial Managers you prepare and maintain ambitious business plans for the areas you are responsible for. As project responsible it is also your task together with internal stakeholders to secure technical follow-up and progress on projects and activities agreed with the customers.
You are expected to be proactive and independently prioritize among tasks and customer projects based on potential and technical feasibility. You must expect around 60 annual travel days.
Profile and your professional qualifications
You hold a degree in food technology or food science, and you have at least 5 years of professional experience from the food ingredients sector or the food industry, working with technical sales, product development, and application development at senior level. The profile we are looking for is innovative, business oriented and has a clear understanding of what it takes to do product development and product optimization within the food industry, and thus you are able to combine your technical know-how with a well-developed business acumen.

You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to create trustworthy and long-term relations with customers across countries and cultures. You are good at getting new ideas, spotting opportunities, and transferring these into products and business. You strive to further develop your skills and share your knowledge with your colleagues within the company. You are an enterprising and committed person who can develop and document in a systematic way just as you are a good communicator. You possess a natural ability to generate overview of complex data and are able to communicate a clear message to the end user.
