The job
As Area Sales Manager, you will be key in achieving our ambitious goals. You will be responsible for opening new customers and retaining existing customers in your markets. You will be trusted with great flexibility to produce results in the way that you see fit. Drawing on your solid experience from the textile business, you are able to kick in doors to new customers and markets within the FMCG sector, on your own or in collaboration with our dedicated Sales Representatives in the fields. Your role will also be to train, inspire and grow the sales force in your markets.

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Expanding our customer base
  • Setting up and executing sales strategies for your markets/customers
  • Growing people to grow business
  • Developing and maintaining deep insights of your markets
  • Preparing sell-in and being present in market showrooms
  • Setting up Sales Meetings with volume customers in collaboration with local forces
  • Establishing long-term relationships with our customers
  • Participating in our internal Sales Meetings as the expert on the products and the various solutions we offer
  • Collecting feedback from the markets for future collections

Qualifications

  • Experience from the FMCG sector
  • Solid experience approaching new customers
  • Experience with Private Label and SMU will be an advantage
  • Knowing how to solve changes and customer demands
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. German is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Solid business understanding and analyzing figures and numbers
