Nilfisk is offering an exciting position as a Global Strategic Account Director with focus on autonomous. You will have significant impact and become part of a global leading provider of cleaning solutions!
Be part of the build-up and management of global strategic accounts
As our new Global Strategic Account director, you will be on the road a lot, but your pirmary office will be our headquarters i Broendby, Greater Copenhagen area. You will be reporting to the SVP, Global Strategic Accounts, Soeren Lorenzen.
Hunt for new Key Accounts with great sales potential
You will be working on hunting and attracting large opportunities at existing or new clients/accounts, in which we can expand business significantly with our autonomous portfolio. The market for professional cleaning equipment and services is to some extent unconsolidated leaving high potential to grow business.
You will identify and maintain strong relationships with key strategic customers focusing on autonomous cleaning. Assigned to several existing and greenfield accounts, the right person is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
Furthermore, you will coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Additionally, your responsibilities include:
Experienced B2B Key Account or Business Development leader
To succeed in the position, we imagine that you have significant experience in Sales or Business Development on an international scale, preferably working with fortune 500 clients.
You understand the value of exceeding client expectations in sales as well as in the delivery phase and you are not afraid of taking action.
You are out-going, communicative and have extensive stakeholder management skills, as you will be working with many internal departments as well. You know how to handle first point of contact, drive the sales and negotiation process until a deal is closed. With your high level of energy, discipline and ambition you hunt through sometimes long and tiresome processes until the deal is closed and delivery to the client starts

Additionally, your responsibilities include:
- To meet or exceed assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
- Handle all client stakeholders and the entire process from initial contact, understanding client needs, develop opportunities and close agreements with target client
- Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a short and long-term period
- Proactively assess, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Lead sales development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
- Understand competition and general business climate in assigned territory
