Where do you come in?
With reference to the Sales Director, you will join a team of 12 colleagues dedicated to customer relations. Our atmosphere in the department at HQ in Esbjerg is professional, fun and ambitious - with a high activity level requiring a strong drive.

Primary tasks and responsibilities
As Key Account Manager, you have an important role with responsibility for some of VIKING's leading customers. The customer segment is medium to large enterprises and we expect you to be experienced in B2B sales at those levels.

You will independently nurture and drive a value-based development of your customer portfolio in Denmark and thereby contribute to our ability to meet VIKING's ambitions and growth strategy. Key tasks will include:

  • Key account responsibility for Danish customers within the maritime and offshore industry
  • Visiting customers
  • Presenting and negotiating tenders
  • Customer communications
  • Retaining and developing customer relations
  • Maintaining your pipeline and contacts in CRM Dynamics

Who are you?
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a similar position, is ambitious and has a strong commercial mind-set. Experience with B2B sales within Offshore or Passenger segments or sales of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) would clearly be an advantage, but is not a requirement.

You have a positive and results-oriented attitude, and thrive in a busy environment, where you manage to stay focused on your tasks, goals and deadlines.

  • You need to be fluent in Danish as well as English
  • You live in the Esbjerg area or would be willing to move to the area from another location in Denmark

You are professional and can communicate freely at all organizational levels. Taking initiatives making independent decisions are also integral to your approach.

On a personal level, you are a team player and have a good positive energy.
