Actief Hartmanns is searching for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate for the position of Account Manager - Denmark
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing sales of ZEISS Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) to customers in the geographic area of responsibility.

ZEISS Research Microscopy Solutions is a major supplier of advanced research microscopy systems to the research sector in both academia and industrial accounts. In the Nordics, ZEISS RMS has direct sales representation in all countries and employs a network of Account Managers, Product and Applications Specialists and a strong Field Service team.
As Account Manager you will report directly to the Head of Sales Nordics who is placed in Stockholm, Sweden.
The ideal candidate will have an educational background in sciences, and some commercial experience gained within the scientific capital sales sector.

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop an active sales project pipeline aligned with the strategic priorities of ZEISS RMS
- Create strong enduring customer relationships through regular meetings, contact and marketing events
- Develops and actions account plans in coordination with colleagues within ZEISS RMS
- Organise and participate in product demonstrations of our systems to prospective customers
- Provide up-to-date information in our CRM platform to keep the RMS Account teams up to date with the latest account developments
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in the ZEISS RMS portfolio and introduce these to your customers
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science or equivalent
- Knowledge of advanced microscopy systems (e.g confocal and/or electron microscopy) as used in research laboratories
- Experience of capital equipment sales in the Academic and/or Industrial research arena
- Strong presentation skills and able to communicate to small and large groups of people
- Highly motivated and organised self-starter who is able to act independently when required
- Team player and able to work as part of a remote team using modern communication technologies
- Self-motivated learner interested in continual learning and self-development. The candidate should have both the ability and desire to learn from both formal taught courses and within informal self-learning opportunities
- Willingness to travel within your territory in Denmark, but also to attend meetings and training courses across the wider European region when required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish
