Welcome to the world of tobacco
We are looking for the best Key Account Manager to partake in our daily work with our Swedish key accounts, that represent all the biggest retail customers in Sweden. You will be located in Denmark (Gentofte) and is expected to travel to Stockholm for meetings with your customers as well as deliver at, and participate in, sales meetings with the Swedish salesforce. Whether you live in Sweden or Denmark is not important, but you’ll be expected to be physically present at our Danish office facilities minimum 3 days a week to ensure that you become an integrated part of our Scandinavian Key Account Team.
Number of yearly travelling days to be expected, is minimum 30 days.
You will become a part of our Scandinavian Key Account Team working across borders, that as a team is responsible for all trade in Sweden, Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands as well as the border trade in both Sweden and Denmark. You’ll play a central role in the organization and be responsible for running long-term profitability in the category with and through our key customers in the grocery and service business.
The retail business is undergoing rapid changes in tobacco and you must therefore thrive on change and complexity in everyday life and not be afraid of the challenges a category with great focus from the outside world entails. You’ll get to play an important role in:
• Dealing with larger client accounts in close collaboration with our Key Account Team
• Ensuring the implementation of our company KA strategy and proactively manage the sales and profit potential assigned to your key accounts
• Developing strong relationships with assigned key accounts to provide value added exposure and assortment of our brands
• Preparing and executing status meetings with your key accounts and conduct yearly negotiations
• Developing and maintaining key account plans and analysis of account results and opportunities and contribute to internal reporting processes
• Optimizing business performance in order to achieve company goals
To be successful in the role, you:
• Are educated at degree level or equivalent, business/marketing is an advantage
• Have experience with key account management within FMCG
• Are a strong communicator at all levels and build strong working relationships with both customers, our Danish/Swedish organization and other internal stakeholders
• Have strong analytical skills and a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks
• Superuser in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong in Swedish and English (written and verbally)
