Sales Controller for Fiskars Denmark (Royal Copenhagen, Fiskars, Iittala, Moomin)

We are looking for a strong analytical and business-oriented Controller, who in close collaboration with our Danish sales organization contributes to increasing efficiency and the business focuses on the right KPIs.
In this role, you get the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across Fiskars Denmark and at the same time make use of your financial competencies.

The role of Business Controller
You will be a part of a team of 3 people in Finance Denmark and, in collaboration with your finance colleagues, be involved in defining, developing and implementing business-relevant KPIs.
You will be an important sparring partner for the Danish sales management team and have a close collaboration with a number of colleagues in the Danish and Scandinavian organization. You will contribute to the performance of a range of financial activities, including financial planning, management reporting, business opportunity evaluation, pricing and strategic support.
For this, you will have support from your finance colleagues in Fiskars Denmark and the finance team in Scandinavia, as well as from our financial service center in Finland. You will spar with and be a close partner to the Danish sales director, and your workplace will be at Fiskars Denmark's head office, which is located in Glostrup. You will report directly to our Finance manager for Scandinavia, who is located in Stockholm.
In addition, your primary tasks will be:
  • Prepare reports, presentations and analyzes for Sales Management
  • Analyze business initiatives and deviations against set KPIs
  • Follow-up and analysis of operations
  • Prepare profitability analyzes
  • Various tasks in connection with monthly and annual accounts
  • Contribute to the execution of the financial year wheel in the sales unit, including focus on the financial planning
  • Process optimization, including follow-up on existing ones and development of new ones across the business
  • Ad hoc analysis tasks
  • Participate in development projects, including setting milestones and following up on action plans

We imagine you have:
  • An education as an M.Sc. (Finance, Economics) or similar master's degree
  • Strong financial and accounting management skills
  • International business experience, preferably across countries and workflows
  • Strong relationship builder skills and have experience with stakeholder management
  • High-paced experience in a sales organization and preferably from a multi-channel consumer goods company
  • A strong technical understanding of HFM and SAP as well as experience with reporting Business Intelligence tools (Tableau)
  • Fluent in Danish and English language written and spoken.


Strong analytical and commercial team player with business understanding
You come from a similar position and have gained experience with the role of Sales or Business Controller for the past 5 years. You have a good business understanding and you have a commercial entrepreneur mindset with strong analytical skills. You are able to translate business insights into action plans and concrete initiatives, and have the skills to persuade, influence, engage and collaborate with people in a matrix environment. In addition, we expect you to be able to perform effortlessly in Danish and English in both writing and speaking.
