RISMA has proven their value and position in the market and grown from a start up in 2014 and taken the next step as a scale up company where we were listed on Nasdaq in March 2021. We are + 40 employees and have around 500 clients and expect a 70% growth in 2022.

The market for GRC-solution platforms is on the verge of an exciting journey, launching into an unmatured market with an extensive growth potential. RISMA is therefore expanding and looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join the Sales Team on this exciting journey.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Account Executive, you have an important role and responsibility in RISMA’s future growth and expansion in the Nordics, as many of our clients have 1, 2 or 3 of our solutions and are not aware that we have launched the markets best – and for now only – GRC platform in the mid-market, consisting of 16 different solutions.

Your role will focus on rapidly building the business and winning market shares through emphasizing on two things:

  • Cross selling to existing clients
  • Minimizing existing client churn

For you to have success, it is key that you engage with other teams internally and make sure that many activities are carried out. This, combined with the implementation partners we have, will ensure that your role will gain success.

The majority of our around 500 clients are based in Denmark and Scandinavia, but we have clients all over Europe.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will become part of the RISMA sales team which consists of 10 dedicated, focused, and accommodating colleagues of whom 5 are located in the Danish HQ where you also will be sitting. You will report to RISMAs Sales Director in Denmark. Our commercial team consist of salespeople, former consultants, GRC experts, marketing specialists, implementation specialist etc. You will have an interface with a large part of all colleagues.

Your responsibilities:

  • As a part of the Sales Team, you will cooperate with the Customer Success Team, Partner Team and Marketing to enable internal resources for common success.
  • Utilize existing ideas and generate new ideas to improve and develop the sales approach/process to succeed with customers.
  • Revenue growth through cross selling and retention work (avoid churn). You will have budget responsibility for cross selling as well as a KPI for lowering the churn.
  • Match – or exceed own monthly / quarterly / annually sales targets. Although you will be having individual targets, we also emphasize on reaching our team goals as a unit.
  • Handle a healthy pipeline and ensure forecast hygiene and accuracy to be on target.
  • Maintain and utilize all the information in our up-to-date CRM system, Hubspot.
  • To manage the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as C-level, as well as Head of Compliance, Risk Managers, CFO’s, DPO’s etc.
  • Securing strong account strategies for our most important clients.

Required & Preferred Skills:</strong

  • Team player, high energy level and structure is a must in this position.
  • As this position is new to us, you need also to help us form the position.
  • "Boardroom appearance" personality will be an advantage.
  • Preferably 5+ years’ experience with consultancy or SaaS solution sales.
  • If you have experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance that’s an advantage.
  • Ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with business and decision makers.
  • Ability to get In-depth industry knowledge and commercial and technical understanding of SaaS applications.
  • Negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to identify, nurture, and drive opportunities and deals with all customers.
  • You hold a bachelor or master’s degree within a relevant field (e.g., business from CBS or similar).
  • Fluent in Danish and English, and an understanding of the other Scandinavian languages.
