Key role to secure future growth and footprint in Denmark
Are you ready for an exciting and demanding position in a global company with a strong market position? Can you develop and expand the customer portfolio, consequently bringing in new business to Stricker in Denmark and managing contract renewals of your existing customer portfolio? Then this is a unique opportunity to become a central part of establishing Stricker in the Danish market. Stricker creates, develops, and distributes promotional gifts to professionals in the same sector and is one of the leading players in the industry.
Play an important role; develop and implement sales activities!
As the new Sales Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for maintaining and expanding existing business, as well as identifying new business and opportunities in your region (Denmark, Greenland, and Faroe Islands). You will have a wide interface with both internal (your back-office team are placed in Lisbon) and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will play a central role in creating impact and changes for Stricker in Denmark. The position entails approximately 50 travelling days per year. Overall, your key tasks will include:
Finally, you will help foster and facilitate long-term relationships, and you will represent Stricker in international trade shows (PSI) and national trade fairs and roadshows – both in Denmark but also in Europe.
Hunter profile with solid results and can-do attitude
We are looking for a strong sales profile with drive, ambition, and a positive can-do attitude. You have + 5 years market experience or from connected activities (namely, office supplies or promotional textile). Experience from working with resellers will be an advantage. It is essential that you are result-oriented and that you have strong negotiation skills. You are also good at change management and know how to prioritise your deadlines. You master English and some of the Scandinavian languages. Finally, you are a great and diplomatic communicator at all organisational levels.

- Definition of the market strategy together with the Sales Director (fine-tune the commercial offer in terms of logistic terms, payment system, general pricing bands, standard payment terms)
- Visits to clients (resellers) in Denmark (40 % of the visits will be near Copenhagen)
- Maximize the number of clients digitally integrated with Stricker offer (API, web services, personalized website, product placement at the client website)
- Organizing two high profile roadshows per year locally
- Assuring the penetration of the catalogue in the market
- To implement and execute on the agreed overall growth strategy
- To drive the direction and results by showing the way based on solid sales management and execution power
