We have just established a new company dedicated to this effort, while our mothership Siemens gives us the backing we need.

Siemens Large Drives Applications SLD Nordic/Baltic is a market-leading global product- system- and service supplier of rotating machinery and variable speed drives in the medium- and high voltage segments, test applications for all industries, and heavy-duty rectifiers (HDR) used for electrolysis. We deliver products, solutions and services for Oil & Gas, Marine, and land-based industry in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Within heavy duty rectifiers we have a global service responsibility, and our team is working with service, maintenance and retrofit of HDR plants globally.

Main responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Plan sales volumes and assess potential of customers
- Provide information for forecasting and planning
- Analysis and evaluation of markets
- Build and maintain a network of prospects and clients
- Prepare and negotiate projects and proposals, in co-operation with functional experts and management
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the following background is ideal
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree within electrical/automation engineering
- Significant relevant experience as Sales Manager or Business Developer towards the industry process or oil and gas industry
Personal traits
To thrive in this role, the following traits are helpful.
- The ability to switch between working independently and in teams
- A strong commercial mindset
- Social skills and the ability to communicate and influence
- You like to stay up to date on technology
- The ability to structure and plan your own work
- Fluency in English, and preferably Norwegian with German as a large bonus
