Developing the sales of Danhydra’s own tools within EMEA.


The role as Sales Development Manager is a newly created role to strengthen the global sales of Danhydra’s own product portfolio within EMEA and a part of a newly created Product Business Unit, with a clear focus to develop the global sales of Danhydra’s own product portfolio across all customer segments ie. OEM´s, ISP’s and operators.

As Sales Development Manager EMEA, you are responsible for prospecting and developing new customers within Danhydra’s product Portfolio and establishing long-term relationships with new customers through the EMEA-scope. You will spend most of your time on the road, visiting customers, primarily throughout Europe. You will also have great impact on the product development, as you will be the organization’s eyes in the field, analysing general needs across customers, and reporting these needs back to “Product Management” and use your observations to build on the product line.

Your tasks include:

  • Developing and presenting value propositions to create a pipeline of new customers.
  • Contribute to further development of the sales and marketing strategy for the EMEA region.
  • Align sales activities with global OEM’s and set budget targets with Danhydra’s global KAMs.
  • Develop and strengthening your personal and commercial relationship with customers, which allows you to identify and close repeat sales opportunities.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers by following up with them regularly to ensure satisfaction with the products or services they purchased.
  • Conducting research to identify potential new markets for the company’s products or services; and
  • Negotiating contracts with customers
  • Spot new product needs and support product management developing the product portfolio.
  • Represent Danhydra at tradeshows and support global sales activities in the business unit.

You will have an exciting and challenging role in an ambitious and financially strong international company with huge potential and growth, and a position with high impact on the success and future development of the Product Business Unit. You will report to the SVP Product Business Unit.

Experienced Sales Developer with strong technical acumen


We are looking for an experienced sales- or business developer with + 5 years of experience from a similar position – preferably from the wind industry, but most importantly, you have a profound knowledge of selling technical products within B2B. We imagine that you have a bachelor’s degree from either a technical or commercial background. However, the most important thing is that you can combine your technical knowledge with your commercial abilities to create strong relationships in different markets. You master English at professional level, however Spanish, or German language proficiency is considered an advantage.

To thrive and succeed in this position, you must be able to adopt a persistent approach to sales-work and thrive in a competitive environment. The ideal candidate possesses a “hunter” mentality, persistently pursuing new sales opportunities in a competitive marketplace and is comfortable going to various construction sites, approaching the end-users with curiosity for their daily problems and needs, as well as bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to how Danhydra can deliver on those needs and problems. However, you also know how to adapt your sales approach depending on whether you are going to the construction site to meet with the end-users, or to the headquarters where the strategic decisions are made. Since you will be covering EMEA, extensive travel activity must be expected.
