Our laboratory automation solutions are helping customers to accelerate their science in Drug Discovery, Genomics, Proteomics and the AgroSciences field. In Langenselbold is the headquarters of the EMEA LabAutomation Business, which is responsible for a. Mover, Automated Incubators & Storage Devices, Control Software and Automated Systems for a wide range of applications including Synthetic Biology, Analytical Workflows and High Throughput Applications. You will support remotely or local the service contract management for this business.

We are looking for our LabAutomation Business, for a
Service Contract Inside Sales Manager (m/f/d)
located remote in Europe or in Langenselbold, Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific in a professional manner in all dealings with customers during the performance of duties. Build strong customer relationships with the continual focus on promoting the customers use of Thermo LA Customer Support Services.
  • Develop, maintain, and promote service contracts through telephone calls, emails, and mailers.
  • Manage existing contract base to achieve 90% in contract renewals and increase contract sales from warranty expirations
  • Identify key customer opportunities.
  • Coordinate LA service Contracts in Europe for SOP and practices.
  • Respond to customer inquiries (both internal and external) in a timely manner.
  • Develop and submit monthly sales reports and forecasts, as required.
  • Develop process for service contracts relative to POS. Follow pricing policy for LA discount structure.
  • Establish standardized global quote process and Sales Support documentation for LA contract offerings.
  • Use of Navision, SFDC, quote tool and Excel for contract administration.
  • Identify and support the development of new services products and promotions.
  • Perform additional duties or work on projects as deemed necessary by the Manager, Global Services.
  • Up to 25% on site travel.


Your qualifications:
  • You have 3-5 years sales experience and you have a persistent, aggressive, creative and productive approach to sales. You combine your customer focused thinking with a good knowledge of sales process. Extensive cold calling experience is a plus.
  • You like to bring in your positive attitude/ energy to your team. Your ability to work independently fits well in our remote team and you like to work without frequent supervision or guidance.
  • An open and constructive communication with your team and supervisor is important for you. You are fluent in both English and German and have excellent oral, written and presentation communications skills. Other languages, as French, would be an asset.
  • You have a BS/BA degree or related experience.
  • You are a self-driven person and you have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are efficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for writing proposals and reports, knowledge of Navision a plus.
