Why this role?
Reporting to the Sales Director, New Equipment Business, as a Business Developer you will be responsible for leading the way in establishing new customer contacts and building up relationships with business decision makers within for example:
Architects Investors and residential developers Influencers in Green, Sustainable and Smart Buildings Entrepreneurs
You will be responsible for creating the Danish sales plan that supports KONE’s strategic direction within leading digital solutions and sustainable building. Together with the New Equipment sales team you will be designing and executing the strategy for reaching new customer stakeholders and developing existing contacts within especially stakeholders that influence how the buildings of the future should be designed. You will be responsible for bringing information to key market influencers on how KONE’s elevators and escalators contribute to improving the flow of urban life and opens new opportunities for developers and architects when they design the buildings of the future both in residential, office and infrastructure buildings.

What will you be doing?
- Customer relationship creation and development
- Developing and executing sales plan for key customer audiences
- Following up on leads
- Building up an early engagement pipeline, following up, maturing and closing deals
Are you the one?
- Previous experience in sales positions/sales engineering positions is preferred but you could also be young in career with a passion for technical solutions and an appetite for commercial business
- Ability to translate technical products and solutions into customer value
- Natural interest in cloud-based digital solutions (IoT solutions)
- Your experience could come from either construction/engineering companies or professional services/advisors/manufacturing companies etc.
- Can easily build relationships with new and existing clients
- Experience in creating customer presentations and delivering to a large audience
- Open learning mindset
- Confident, eager and motivated by innovation and customer dialogue
- Good understanding in written and spoken Danish and English language
