Do you have a business-oriented approach and excellent financial skills and are you good at communicating and translating complex data? If yes, you should apply for this challenging position as Financial Business Partner at Palsgaard.

In this role, you will focus on supporting our global sales organisation with various analysis and clear guidance on how to interpret financial data to ensure growth and profitability.

You will be part of a highly qualified global finance team, with whom you will be working closely on a daily basis.

The position is placed at our headquarter in Juelsminde (DK) with flexible working hours and possibility to work from home. You will report directly to our Group CFO, Ole Albertsen with dotted line to Group CCO, Michael Skriver.

Your responsibilities will amongst others include:

  • Being the “finance wing-man” for our Group CCO and several Regional Sales Directors.
  • Ensure relevant dimensions and quality sales data available; customer & product mix, regional & country sales data etc.
  • Ensure transparency on relevant financial performance KPIs throughout the sales organisation.
  • Ensure sales quotations are correct incl. validation/controlling of cost of goods sold in close corporation with your finance colleagues.
  • Support the sales organisation with various financial analysis on actual performance of earnings per product/product group, customers, and market.
  • Supporting the sales organization in the budget process; e.g. volume, margin, cost etc.
  • Support our Group CCO on cost controlling of his global organisation.
  • Support foreign subsidiaries in sales/cost analysis.
  • Ensure that sales processes and sales master data are efficient and up to date; customer master data incl. payment terms, dunning process etc.
  • Continue driving digitalization and use of latest technology incl. Power BI reports to the global sales organisation.
  • Part of global finance community responsible for the finance blueprint and implementation of new ERP platform (Microsoft D365).

It is important that you have an engaging business partnering approach to help your colleagues in optimizing the business. Business partnering will be at multiple levels.

The focus will be on developing the role in partnership with the sales organisation and inspire your colleagues to enable Palsgaard’s continuing growth journey in your area of responsibility.

As we work on a global scale, the position requires a limited number of travel days a year.

What do you need to apply?

You hold a master’s degree in economics, HD in business economics or similar qualification. You have proven experience with a successful career in a similar role - preferably from a global MNC and you are eager to learn more within the area.

You are good at communicating at multiple levels, with the ability to translate complex data in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, you have a thorough and analytical way of working and excel in building transparent and trustworthy business partnerships. You can prioritize your work and effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time.

You have a broad knowledge of the newest common IT-systems. Currently, we are working on BI-tool (PowerBI) as well as implementation of a new ERP-system (Microsoft D365), where you will play a key role in relation to the interfaces between sales and finance.

As we work in a global environment, it is a prerequisite to have solid communication skills in English.

We will, of course, make sure to give you a thorough onboarding as well as the necessary training to ensure continuing professional development.
