Introduction



SAS Cargo Group A/S manages the cargo capacity of Scandinavian Airlines and is responsible for sales & marketing, customer support, revenue and handling management, accounting and IT. SAS Cargo is an independent and wholly owned subsidiary to Scandinavian Airlines with its head office at Copenhagen Airport. We offer cargo capacity on the entire SAS network as well as through an extensive trucking network.

At SAS Cargo we have a strong focus on quality, digitization, and sustainability.

We are looking for a new Key Account Manager to join our sales team in Denmark based close to CPH airport with a primary focus on our airmail and short haul and contracts connected to these products.

Main areas of responsibilities



  • Drive and develop customer relations for your customer portfolio within airmail and short haul
  • Conduct sales calls and act as a value creator for our customers
  • Negotiate contracts and follow up on their performance
  • Act as important stakeholder in cross functional work groups within SAS Cargo
  • Act in accordance with SAS Employee Model


Required Competencies



Skills and abilities

  • Excellent negotiations skills – and ability to build long-term customer relationships with existing and new customers
  • Self-driven, proactive and possess the ability to multitask as priorities shift
  • Result oriented with ability to cope with and to meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge about aviation/airfreight and the dynamics that drives the market
  • Analytical skills and business acumen
  • Proficient communication skills verbally and written in English as well as one of the Scandinavian languages
  • Being a proactive team player with great interpersonal skills is a pre-requisite
  • Driver’s license is an absolute advantage

Education and experience

  • Experience within major tender material, negotiations and contracts
  • Minimum 3 years Sales experience from airfreight, aviation, freight forwarding or shipping

The successful candidate will report to Head of Cargo Sales, Scandinavia and Europe (Nicklas Krandorf) and participate in relevant teams and projects.
