SAS CARGO IS LOOKING FOR A KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER FOR DENMARK



We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our sales team in Denmark.



The position belongs to the area of Global Sales & Marketing, responsible for all sales and marketing activities in SAS Cargo worldwide. The unit’s overall goal is to maximize revenues in both offline and online channels as well as manage and develop SAS Cargo’s customer base.

As a Key Account Manager in Denmark, you will work closely with the Country Sales Manager in Denmark together with other relevant business units in the SAS Cargo Group.

SAS Cargo is an independent and wholly owned subsidiary to Scandinavian Airlines with its head office at Copenhagen. We offer cargo capacity on the entire SAS network as well as through an extensive trucking network.

Skills and abilities



• Ability to build long-term customer relationships with both existing and new customers
• Self-driven with the ability to organize your day and prioritize your work
• Motivated by results
• Experience from airfreight, freight forwarding, aviation or shipping is expected
• Strong communication skills in one Scandinavian language and English – verbally and written
• A proactive team player with great interpersonal skills
• Driver’s license

Education and experience



• Experience with tender material, negotiations and contracts is preferred
• Experience with Excel, Power Point, Power BI and a natural interest and curiosity in using and learning relevant IT systems and reports

Main areas of responsibilities



• Drive and develop customer relations for your customer portfolio
• Conduct sales calls, both physical and by phone/Teams
• Negotiate contracts and follow up on their performance
• Some travel within Denmark and Scandinavia must be expected
• Act as important stakeholder in cross functional work groups within SAS Cargo
• Participation in relevant teams and projects
• Act in accordance with SAS Employee Model
