The Global Sales Engagement team owns how we do sales at Maersk: how we learn to ask customers the right questions, how we organize, motivate, and reward our salespeople, the content we show to customers about our products and solutions and how we select the right customers to pursue.

In this role you have an opportunity to be part of forming the commercial approach in Maersk. The task is to assist with tools, collateral, and programs that enable our sales teams. This includes how we work in Salesforce.com as well as how we collaborate between sales teams, in different sales roles and with adjacent functions to Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will run and develop key processes in our use of salesforce.com Sales Cloud, considering features and processes in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
  • You will support the Sales Operations team in evaluating new process implementation and adoption, improving our sales teams’ experience and helping with communication and training.
  • You will share your findings and best ideas with your team to ensure that right actions are being taken to make our sales team life easier
  • You will assist in evolving our Sales Coverage concepts with clarity on roles and collaboration, ensuring a caring discussion with our Areas where reality and theory collide.
  • You will develop a deep understanding of how technology supports Sales and what our salespeople need to be more effective in their roles. You will seek feedback and learning more about our sales colleagues frequently with our frontline to ensure you are representing their needs well in the interplay between Process, Technology and Practice.
  • You will act as a change agent for organisational, business and process transformation.

Who we are looking for

  • Good stakeholder management skills with ability to work as a change agent and challenge status quo.
  • Experience in Sales or Sales Operations, strong sales process understanding and interest.
  • Proficiency in using data to drive business results and build sales effectiveness.
  • Proactively suggest improvements and work as a team across functions
  • Very strong communication skills and ability to build training materials and packages to make it easy for people to understand and adopt something new.
  • Ability to engage across functions and geographies with strong empathy to understand contexts across brands and markets while driving standardization
  • Functional experience with CRM/Salesforce.com is an advantage.
