The role is based at our head office in Copenhagen. You will become part of the Customer Solutions team tasked with achieving Svitzer’s ambitious global growth targets by improving customer relationships and creating unique value propositions driven by deep knowledge of our customers’ needs. The Customer Solutions team is small, dedicated and passionate about driving true customer centricity through continuous learning and improvement. A lean and flat structure in a results-oriented culture gives you significant independence to shape your role and contributions to the success of our team and our company.
The key aspect of the role is to support our global organisation with understanding customer needs and translating them into improvements that directly impact the customer experience. The role is critical for driving customer centricity mindset across the organisation.
The role’s responsibilities are:
CUSTOMER INSIGHTS & MARKETING
• Develop quantitative models to facilitate fact based decision making and quantitative input into Commercial proposals.
• Support the Commercial department with both qualitative and quantitative intelligence, analysis and visualisation to assist with strategic planning activities.
• Collect and consolidate data in respect of sales potentials.
• Identify current and future market trends, providing the business with key insights contributing to both short and long-term strategy.
• Support preparation for Sales commercial meetings with the customer, including presentations for customers and management.
• Use the latest digital tools (MailChimp, Typeform, etc) to drive market communications
• Develop and assist in conducting surveys to analyze customer patterns, preferences, and the organisation’s image and marketing effectiveness.
SALES PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
• Work with Commercial Leadership on devising strategies aimed at improving sales productivity through process standardisation, digital tool adoption, and performance reporting on key metrics
• Deliver standardised global sales reporting dashboards covering internal and external needs
•Drive analysis, recommendation and plan for CRM and marketing system implementation globally
The ideal candidate will positively impact our business by driving changes, selling messages and creating a consensus based on facts. This position is likely to suit somebody who has:

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with aptitude to deal successfully with multiple priorities concurrently.
Advance knowledge of MS Office products, Typeform, PowerBI, Sales Force.
• Master’s degree in business administration / relevant specialisation a benefit
• Experience from shipping industry a benefit
REPORTING AND SCOPE
• This position is an individual contributor role.
• The position reports to the Head of Customer Solutions
You must have a working permit and be able to legally reside in Denmark. International travel could be required, subject to COVID-19.
