Are you a driven executer, well organized and think beyond the project list in order to deliver results? We are looking for the right person to connect the dots and support our sales teams in Northern Europe.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The key responsibilities for this role are to support the sales organization in Northern Europe (Denmark, Norway, Sweden) by providing reporting, administration and general office management.

The Sales Support Manager puts the client at the center of everything he/she does. He/she knows the hospitality business, the competitors and customers better than anyone else. He/she takes a broad view and recognizes opportunities and what can be achieved. This role works across borders and loves the international collaboration. Last but not least - The Sales Support Manager embraces challenging assignments, situations and opportunities that extend beyond their comfort zone!

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in and handles organization and logistics for client events and fairs.
• Liaises with Area and Regional DOS to co-ordinate & communicate Regional/Area Sales activities.
• Liaises with Marketing to ensure Sales activities and related Marketing support is coordinated.
• Organizes the distribution of promotional information and collateral.
• Manages internal visit calendars/events.
• Provides Office management/support.
• Self-education on special programs, to train sales teams and take on championship role
• Take on special projects ad hoc as required
• Puts together client contact lists to be pulled via our internal system databases.
• Ensures that internal databases comply with GDPR regulations.
• Pulls and consolidates data.
• Handles invoices as first approver and collects supporting documentation.
• Chases hotels for non-paid invoices (kick-back fees, participation fees and system licenses)
• Where necessary, supports the RFP global team with Area specific requirements,
• Supports Area DOS

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience within a Sales Support function.
• Strong business and commercial awareness.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• RfP process expertise.
• Well organised with the ability to plan and manage own workload.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong experience with Salesforce.com, Lanyon and hotel systems (Opera PMS, Sales & Catering etc.).
• Experience with actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently
• Strong administrative skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The role refers to Area Director of Sales – Nordics, or as re-directed by this role.
Location: This role is based on Amager Strandvej 60-64 in Copenhagen.
