Sales Global Sales & Key Account Management KAM & Commercial Optimization
Working under the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) organisation, the mission of the Global Sales & Key Account Management function is to provide commercial support to Vestas' sales teams on a global basis, whilst at the same time ensuring that overall commercial objectives are being met.

Our dedicated and energetic department contributes to Vestas' commercial success in a dynamic environment. We work closely with the regional Sales Business Units (SBUs) responsible for originating, negotiating and closing powerplant sales across the globe, as well as with various global functions of Vestas.

As Global Key Account Management Coordinator you will join a high performing team, and you will contribute directly towards our vision to be a world class key account management organisation. Through engagement with your stakeholders you will drive key account management best practices to ensure that Vestas stay ahead of competition in a profitable and customer-focused way.

Responsibilities
You will act as a liaison between our key account teams and Vestas internal functions on topics where a coordinated approach is required. Your primary area of responsibility will be:

  • Global account alignment and coordination: facilitate collaboration between various sales and other functions for global accounts where global coordination and alignment is necessary
  • Support executive customer visits to Vestas HQ or at customer premises in terms of briefing materials, preparation meetings, meeting logistics etc.
  • Maintain excellent account management data quality in our CRM system and actively support the digital agenda within Global Sales and Key Account Management
  • Commercial analysis: Conduct analysis for strategic KAM topics and present in a persuasive manner
  • Creation of presentation materials: support with creation of various materials (typically in PowerPoint) to support decision making processes
  • Performance management: track performance of Vestas Strategic and Key Accounts and suggest relevant follow-up actions
  • Help account teams to develop high quality accounts plans, using best practices from other account teams and inspiration from the best sources in the industry

Qualifications
To qualify as a good candidate, you have:

  • A few years of relevant experience from a commercial position within Sales/Key Account Management/Business development, preferably from an international company
  • A Master's degree in business administration or engineering, top performer in class
  • Fluency in written and verbal English
  • An advantage if you have experience with/or knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems

Additional information
Primary location is Copenhagen S, Denmark.
Some travel activity will be expected.
