Do you have extensive experience in negotiations of large (offshore wind) projects, either as commercial manager or as (technical) package manager? And do you have great stakeholder management skills, and are you ready to apply them in an aspirational and creative environment?

Sales Offshore Commercial Global Deal Support

As our new Lead Global Sales Advisor you will support the sales regions in navigating within the mandate governance, finding contractual solutions and act as sparring partner and support them towards the internal approval meetings. You will share knowledge across the sales regions and provide commercial (contractual) training

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Regional Sales teams in navigating within the offshore relevant mandate governance, in cooperation with Global Offshore Legal, and advice on mandate seeking
  • Provide commercial (and package) optimization support to the Sales Regions
  • Actively assist the Regions in finding tender/contractual solutions, closing contracts and act as sparring partner
  • Participate in key negotiations on request of the Sales Regions
  • Act as key entry point to one or more Sales Regions and have bi-weekly touch base on support needs with the Regional Sales VP
  • Support Regions towards internal sign-off meetings, and ensure structured and controlled deal advice and approvals in such meetings
  • Support global training and knowledge sharing activities

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in negotiations of large (offshore wind) projects, either as commercial manager or as package manager
  • Knowledge from the wind industry
  • Negotiation skills
  • FIDIC / contractual skills / knowledge of different types of contracts
  • Communication skills in verbal and writing
  • Outstanding languages skills in English; other languages preferably as well
  • Strategic thinking & business and commercial acumen
  • Good technical and operational knowledge and operational experience
  • Good product knowledge
  • Business case understanding
  • Project management skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management

Competences
You have a solid and proven experience within sales and customer interface, having previously worked for an international company. To achieve your goals in this position, you must have solid project and stakeholder management skills combined with an interest in complex agreements and legal issues. You have experience in handling large projects and possess a structured and quality-oriented mindset.
