The role of Sales manager is an important job for BCHG and its overall performance.
The position is part of a highly-driven sales team and a key role in one of the biggest hospitality groups in Copenhagen – a very dynamic, innovative and commercially minded organization.
The job of Sales Manager is a mix of new business development (30-40%) and account management (60-70%) and requiring skills that will suit both styles of selling.
Building and maintaining relationships with both new prospect accounts and existing accounts is an essential skill for this role.
Key area of focus is the Nordic Market, with occasional European business travel in order to explore and drive new opportunities.
Working closely with Global brands, global sales colleagues and peers in our business in a highly collaborative work environment is very important.

The key objective is to drive room nights and revenues to the BCHG Hotels & venues through building and managing relationships with clients.

The position is part of a highly-driven sales team and a key role in one of the biggest hospitality groups in Copenhagen – a very dynamic, innovative and commercially minded organization.

Opgaver
The key objective is to drive room nights and revenues to the BCHG Hotels & venues through building and managing relationships with clients.
Key job tasks:
- Understanding market opportunities and driving revenues
- Gain understanding of BCHG’s (and each property’s) primary target customer and service expectations
- Understand the overall market – competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and know how to sell against them
- Target group/events/accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation.
- Identify, qualify and solicit new group/Events business to achieve personal and each property’s revenue goals.
- Develop effective sales & account plans and actions for each account
- Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
- Actively build and manage New Business Portfolio based on set annual taget
