For our office in Copenhagen we are looking for a skilled, proactive, Lighting Specialist who is passionate about high quality lighting to help our customers find the perfect lighting solutions for their needs. The candidate is motivated by a fast-paced position with a steep learning curve and exciting challenges in a young and international team of ambitious students and serial entrepreneurs.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Lighting Specialist at AndLight, you will be the go-to expert for the technical and applied knowledge of lighting within both our B2B and B2C sales. Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert advice on lighting design, supplying the Contract Team with product proposals for commercial projects and assisting customers with product selection. You will work closely with our sales team to contribute to the overall success of the company and the company’s main focus of being a lighting expert in e-commerce.
It is not required that you have an existing knowledge of the lighting market in Denmark but is preferable.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert advice on lighting products, including features, benefits, and installation options.
- Understand and stay up-to-date with the latest lighting trends, technologies, and industry standards.
- Prepare lighting proposals for a customer’s specific needs, including residential and commercial applications.
- Understand architectural drawings including electrical and lighting plans to assist the Sales Team in providing better counter proposals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to stay informed of the company’s profitability, competition and the generic margin knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in lighting design, and architecture / interior design is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year experience in relevant industry.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, and design programs (e.g., AutoCAD, DIALux) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of lighting products, design principles, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English in both spoken and written, and Danish is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-disciplinary environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
