We are looking for an Expedition Cruise Advisor for Albatros Expeditions (a.k.a. sales and customer service superstar) to join our team of experts in the Copenhagen head office.
We are looking for a proven “closer”, someone who achieves sales targets and create an incredible customer experience to maximize our agent channels. The ideal candidate has experience selling high-end products, preferably in travel.

Willingness to travel up to 20% of time. During trade shows and when experiencing the company’s products, some weekend travel may be required. In some cases, evening and weekend work may be required. Albatros Arctic Circle is the leader in Greenland travel, offering the largest selection of land programs, adventure opportunities and own hotel and lodging options in Kangerlussuaq and Ilulissat. In Africa, Albatros owns three DMCs in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa, and several accommodations including unique safari camps in Tanzania, South Africa, and Mozambique

We are looking for a proven “closer”, someone who achieves sales targets and create an incredible customer experience to maximize our agent channels. The ideal candidate has experience selling high-end products, preferably in travel.
Key Requirements for the Role:
- Meet or exceed all sales targets.
- Respond to all enquires via phone/email/online chat about destination information, expedition itineraries, ship details, company policies, safety information and all client related questions.
- Enter prospects into the reservation system for tracking/follow up.
- Create new reservations within reservation system.
- Ensure documentation is accurate before sending to clients, i.e. invoice, confirmation letters, final documentation, etc.
- Ensure clients have properly submitted forms in a timely manner.
Track and support payments process.
- Follow up on all accounts receivable and ensure no payments are overdue.
- Manage “non-managed” accounts as assigned – looking for opportunities to increase business.
- Assist with agent trainings, webinars, trade shows, fairs, etc.
Skills and Knowledge
- 2+ years in sales within the travel industry or selling high end/luxury product.
- Preferably having experience selling/marketing products globally.
- Attention to detail, problem solver, result oriented, team player.
- Passion and enthusiasm for travel and for delivering quality service to our customers.
- Reservation system / CRM experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English; German, French or Spanish is considered a definite asset.
