Join a truly global team that manages projects across Milestone
Global Sales Operations is centrally placed in Milestone with interfaces to the entire organization.
You will be part of the Project & Portfolio Management team in Global Sales Operations. This is where we manage the most complex projects in Global Sales. We have a solid experience in working with stakeholders from across all departments ensuring traction all the way from initial project scoping though to ensuring that outcomes meet the set objectives.
You will work closely with the entire Global Sales Operations team and have many touch points in the wider Milestone organization. You will report to Head of Project & Portfolio Management, Emilie Hüttel Brogaard, Global Sales Operations.
Your areas of responsibilities
As the Project Manager in Global Sales Operations, you will drive the implementation of the biggest and most complex projects from decision over launch to hand-over to operation.
Your primary tasks will be to:
• Lead complex projects, including own topic tracks
• Contribute to the problem-solving processes during the development of a project
• Build strong project teams with the right skill sets
• Manage project progress and plan sprints and regular reviews
• Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders and establish good collaboration with
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks in the development of projects
• Handle change management to ensure successful implementation of the projects
• Communicate internally about the projects you manage
• Provide feedback and validate business cases on request
What you bring to the team
You are a dedicated and team-oriented professional who inspires people, delegates ownership, and has a hands-on and a ‘get things done’ approach.
These are some of the competences we look for:
• A master degree in IT, business, or similar and 5-7 years of experience leading complex projects at international scale.
• You have solid experience with the agile toolkit for managing projects.
• You play a proactive role in the resolution of challenges that arise in the development of the project, and you have ownership and accountability to see them resolved.
• You have strong interpersonal skills that allow you to work effectively in a collaborative environment and build strong relationships with your colleagues.
• You are a well-rooted person and stay calm, also when stakeholders have different interests and matters become urgent.
• You are recognized as an effective communicator as you can articulate your ideas to get the message across and manage conversations efficiently with stakeholders.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as it is our corporate language (Danish language knowledge is not required).
• You are experienced in interlocking with IT development teams as most of our projects require working closely with them.
• Experience with managing projects in an international setting is a benefit.
• Experience with a channel sales model and/or a technology company is a benefit.
