Sales Manager, GP's & Specialists

Join Mediq as Sales Manager for GP’s & Specialists business segment, where you will be leading a sales team of 8 healthcare professionals, divided between Jutland and Zealand. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the entire sales process, ensuring execution of the sales strategy, and ensure that market shares are won and protected.
With direct report to the Sales Director – Professional, you supervise sales activities and ensure high quality of work and contribution to the overall target of Mediq Denmark, as well as people engagement and development of your team.
Utilize your management experience to support the growing business of Mediq!
You will link leadership to daily execution to drive performance and achieve Mediq’s targets in the Danish market. You will be creating and executing sales strategies for the GP & Specialist business areas, aligned with the Sales Director. This includes tasks like forecasting, budgeting, market analysis, and customer needs assessment. It also encompasses maintaining segmentation and call plans, achieving sales excellence through territory management, training, and coaching, as well as planning and conducting sales meetings. The role extends to developing go-to-market plans, ensuring value proposition delivered for a great customer experience, and collaborating with various teams to optimize products and pricing strategies.
As Sales Manager, you will ensure that the team possesses the necessary skills and capabilities to effectively address market requirements and satisfy customer expectations. Also, you will be consistently dedicated to refining sales and proposal processes in alignment with the company’s overarching strategy. Furthermore, you will be responsible for spearheading performance development initiatives and setting goals for the sales team, with a keen focus on their valuable contributions.
Commercial drive and strong leadership skills
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong commercial mindset and thrive on developing and executing commercial strategies to drive sales growth and develop businesses. You are able to navigate in a matrix organisation and act proactively. Your leadership style is characterized by being empathic and confidence-based, and you possess the ability to both challenge and be constructive in the dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.
Furthermore, we expect the following qualifications:
- Solid experience from sales roles within the medtech industry, including a proven track record of driving own customers and sales.
- Experience in leading a high-performance sales team and doing sales coaching.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to drive and review business cases.
- Structured, with strong project management and process optimization skills.
- Solid stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Danish and English.
