About the department

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international, high performing team in Køge, Denmark. You will work within the Sales & Marketing department, and in close collaboration with our Product Management and Business Development organization you will ensure to execute on our sales strategy and meet the defined targets. We distribute and sell our existing products (insulin, Quats) globally and we have a strong pipeline of new products (enzymes, purification resins) waiting to be launched in the near future.

The position

In close collaboration with internal stakeholders you will develop strategies, tactical sales and action plans for our key customers and distributors which are linked to our product strategies. Bringing back insights from the markets and finding leads for especially new products is a key task in this role. You will also contribute to our Go-to-market plans and long term NNPR strategy.

Being the voice of our customers, you will create business cases to convince the management and board of director of new concepts and ideas for new products, services and business areas.

You will meet our customers globally on regular basis either in person or through virtual meetings. Travel is therefore an important element of the job in order to establish and maintain relationships with key customers. Together with our marketing department you will also participate in exhibitions, conferences and events around the world.

You will negotiate and establish long term supply and distribution agreements and help our quality department to exchange information with our customers. Novo Nordisk Pharmatech has a high focus on business ethics and our Sales Managers ensure, in cooperation with other departments like the regulatory affairs department, that new products, services and business areas are in compliance with regulations and our QMS system.

Qualifications

You know the industry and have established a strong network of key stakeholders across leading pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. To be successful in this role, you like to engage and interact with people and are able to define and demonstrate values based on our product offering and unique selling points to existing and potential new customers.

You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in either commercial or relevant technical area and 5 years of previous experience with sales within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.

You take initiative, consider obstacles as challenges to be overcome, manage stakeholders, communicate efficiently and engage people around you. You always strive for win-win solutions. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on.

Finally, you must have strong work ethics and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
