With over 75 years of experience, Novenco is a key provider of HVAC/R solutions and products to the Marine market. Novencos dedicated ‘Upgrade Team’ collaborates closely with their valued clients, offering custom upgrade/retrofit solutions designed to extend equipment lifespan, enhance energy efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulations.

A dynamic role
Based at the headquarters in Køge, you will be part of a vibrant, technically skilled and commercially savvy team. Your responsibilities will cover the complete project lifecycle, from initial customer inquiry to solution development, quotation, project execution, and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities & skills
Your role will include a diverse array of tasks:

  • Responding to customer RFQs for upgrade solutions
  • Engineering customized technical solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Preparing technical and commercial quotations
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with customers from the Newbuilding segments
  • Employing a structured approach to cultivate new customer relations and grow the RFQ pipeline
  • Traveling to ships worldwide to conduct inspections and devise solutions
  • Managing upgrade projects as Project Manager in collaboration with internal project assistant team
  • Technically and commercially validating relevant external suppliers
  • Developing necessary upgrade concepts
  • Contributing to the growth of Novenco’s Upgrade business

At Novenco the primary digital tools are:

  • AutoCAD (experience with MagiCAD is a plus)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint, Teams, and Project)
  • Novenco’s proprietary product configurators

Expected travel
This role will involve approximately 30-40 days of travel per year.

Ideal candidate profile
We’re seeking candidates with a technical education like Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering, HVAC design skills, and commercial insight.

8+ years of HVAC design experience with complex projects, knowledge of the Marine industry, and familiarity with HVAC/R products and solutions for the Marine industry will be highly valued.

We're looking for an outgoing, proactive individual with a good sense of humor, a "can-do" attitude, and a proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You have a commitment to delivering as promised and possess the ability to influence and win respect. Excellent English communication skills are required.
