Make a difference with us!The positionAs the Global Product Manager in the Strategic Marketing team, you will be responsible for products that are already in the life cycle stage or about to be launched globally, working in close collaboration with the rest of Product Managers, Business Analysts and Launch Manager.You can also look forward to:
  • Delivering commercial strategies for your products of responsibility, including the tactical plan to support the company goals.
  • Training and maintaining the technical competence of staff, distributors, and selected customers.
  • Ensuring that internal, cross-departmental knowledge of the information from customers and other internal departments is maintained.
  • Ensuring profitability of product portfolio, working in close collaboration with Sales and MarCom.

  • You will work in a dynamic, growing environment, with responsibility for some exciting new products, and freedom to shape the strategy. You will collaborate across the full value chain, including sales and R&D.This is a global position, and you can expect to visit the customers and attend conferences globally a few times per year (around 20-25 days/year).QualificationsWe are looking for a candidate with a strong scientific and commercial background in the bioprocessing industry – someone who can understand the features of the products, and then translate them to a value proposition.We imagine that you have:
  • A master’s degree or Ph.D. in life science, ideally in molecular biology, regenerative biology, human genomics, or a related field.
  • Experience in cell biology, including good understanding of the cell culture practices and cell culture media components (supplements and enzymes). Knowledge and understanding of the Regeneration Medicine field will be considered advantageous. Hands-on experience in media formulation is a plus.
  • Some experience as a product manager or in a similar commercial role will be a plus. As a minimum, you have a strong motivation to move from lab work to a commercial function.
  • You know how to perform market and competitor analysis and prepare business cases and you are commercially oriented.

You can engage and approach the people you work with, always striving for win-win solutions. You are strategic, organized, and enjoy looking at the bigger picture.About the departmentYou will be part of our Strategic Marketing team within the Sales & Marketing department. As our new Product Manager, you will have a big impact in driving the direction of our commercial strategies and tactics.In our team of 10 dedicated colleagues from diverse backgrounds, you will be working closely with other Product Managers, Business Analysts and a Launch Manager, where together with R&D and Sales, we strive to identify trends and spot opportunities in the industry. We are responsible for setting the strategy for existing products, and setting the direction for new products to come, driving company growth, and ensuring a promising and robust pipeline.Working at Novo Nordisk PharmatechNovo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S is a 100% owned subsidiary of Novo Nordisk, located in Køge, DK.
