If you are passionate about sales on a highly technical level, and if you want to work worldwide within the chemical and oil refining industry together with the rest of the organization, aiming at optimizing our customers’ businesses, then you may be our new account manager for the Chemicals and Clean Fuels business.About ustopsoe.com.Who we’re looking forYou will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within sales and business development. Your daily work will involve extensive contact with customers, partners as well as internal departments going from quote to the delivery of goods.
Here are some of you responsibilities:
  • Drive direct technical sales with current and new customers
  • Ensure timely and qualified service both technically and commercially to our customers
  • Draw up of contracts, business letters, PR materials
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals
  • Support Topsoe representatives in negotiations with customers
  • Prepare market researches and promotional materials for market development and project implementation
  • Organize and participate in seminars, conferences and exhibitions
  • Monitor Topsoe competitors’ activities and their position in the market
  • Establish, maintain and develop contacts with existing and potential customers
  • Update the CRM system with information regarding current and prospective projects of grassroots construction and modernization of current facilities of Topsoe clients
  • Participate in budgeting of catalysts and technology sales.

    What you’ll bring
    You have a degree in chemical engineering or a similar background. You have 5-10 years of experience in technical sales in the areas within hydroprocessing and hydrogen from an international company. It is an advantage if you have experience in some of the areas within sulfuric acid, syngas, ammonia and methanol catalysts and technologies.What you’ll bringYou need to be fluent in English.To be successful in the job, you must have excellent business instinct and understand how to convert your efforts into tangible results. In addition, you should be able to tick off the following:
