Do you have experience in selling slightly more complex automation and digital solutions, and do you know the energy and supply sector? Black energy must be replaced with green, digital and electricity-based solutions, and you will help drive that development. As part of ABB, you will work with the best imaginable foundation. We have a healthy business with a solid customer base, exciting projects in the pipeline and great potential for further development. Your primary focus will be to build relationships based on mutual trust and quality deliveries, so that you become the customers' natural go-to person every time they face a challenge at their facility. The majority of your time is spent with your customers. However, you will also spend a lot of time in the (home) office, where you spar about tenders and ensure that you get the optimal knowledge to be able to present technical solutions. You get the best imaginable introduction from your two very experienced KAM colleagues, who are gradually stepping down. This applies both to ABB's products and solutions and the existing customer base. ABB is also a company that is ready to invest in you with, for example, relevant training, courses etc. Our size also gives you plenty of development opportunities. It is equally important that you can look forward to becoming part of an organization where it is simply nice to be. We are not saying that you should be here 30 years or more like your KAM colleagues, but you should know that there is a risk that you will have a really good time and therefore want to stay. Whether you want to be based in Ballerup or Middelfart is entirely up to you. You get lots of good colleagues in both places, and we also have a hybrid workplace with extensive flexibility.

Your responsibilities


  • Create a good overview of our existing customers and installed base with good help from experienced KAM colleagues
  • Book and conduct meetings with current customers – build relationships, identify needs and wishes
  • Brief your Bid & Proposal colleagues who prepare offers, which you then give feedback on
  • Forward quotes, follow up and negotiate and close contracts
  • Continuously present customers with new opportunities with an emphasis on the digital incl. cyber security
  • Contribute to tenders and business development
  • Helping customers as an advisor, for example by defining and outlining a possible project

Your background


  • Minimum 3 years sales experience
  • Experience in selling slightly more complex system solutions
  • Industry knowledge within energy and/or supply
  • Great motivation for learning and development as well as a healthy humility in relation to not being able to know everything
  • Willingness and ability to build and nurture good relationships
  • Good communication skills in both Danish and English, in writing and orally
