At Umbraco, we are currently looking for a Customer Success Manager who is motivated and passionate about guiding our customers through the onboarding process and beyond.
The Role This role is crucial in ensuring our customers get the best experience and receive the most value from our products and services. In this role, you will be a key part of our SWAT Team (Support Warriors and Trouble Shooters) and work closely together with both our sales team and our product team. The ideal candidate has good interpersonal skills, genuine empathy, strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and is highly organized. Key Responsibilities
- Own the customer onboarding experience, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to sustained use
- Develop and maintain customer onboarding protocols, timelines, and resources to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product teams to align customer expectations and needs
- Monitor customer health metrics and develop action plans to address any areas of concern
- Provide product training and support tailored to individual customer requirements
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs and usage data
- Lead regular check-ins with customers to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and offer additional value
- Create and manage customer success plans that outline customer goals and the steps to achieve them
- Collaborate with internal teams to advocate for customer feature requests and needs
- Maintain accurate customer records within our CRM and other customer management systems
- Conduct exit interviews for churned customers and report findings to internal teams for process improvement

- A bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or similar roles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning techniques
- Proficiency in customer success platforms and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho…)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts concurrently
- Excellent English communication skills, capable of translating complex issues into understandable terms
- Familiarity with our product line and the ability to conduct customer training
- Experience in creating and executing customer success plans
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
