Job overall purpose
- Help build and develop Cardlay’s global partner network
You will refer to the VP Head of Partner Sales.
Key areas of responsibility
- Nurture and advance relationships with relevant partners and create joint commercial sales initiatives
- Identify, qualify, and target potential customer opportunities in collaboration with partners
- Structure the sales process on new incoming leads through partners by structuring and prioritizing leads
- To execute on the process of closing deals
Key tasks
- Close cooperation with specialists within the payment & banking network
- Structuring and developing existing pipeline
- Create strong relations with stakeholders at partners and customer leads
- Targeting and seeking out profitable business industries and segments
- Close sales
- Increase sales, improve, and further develop customer relationships and onboarding processes
- Continuously communicate and cooperate with relevant stakeholders in Cardlay (Product Management, Operations, Development & Market)
Criteria of Success
- Evolve partnerships and develop qualified pipeline of customers
- Close 1-2 new customer deals within 12 months of employment
Qualifications Critical experience
- Significant experience within sales and closing deals with stakeholders in the finance world internationally.
- Finance, fintech or digital/tech background
Skills
- You have excellent English language skills both orally and in writing
- You are reliable and have a well-developed commercial and business sense and understanding
- You are well-structured and focused
- You are a strong executor in sales
- You have an open and communicating personality, are able to work on your own and at the same time enjoy a dynamic environment with multiple relations, contacts and stakeholders
- Cardlay is an international organization with global partners. Thus, it is important to thrive and collaborate with colleagues and partners of different cultures and backgrounds
Education
- Relevant commercial education: MSc degree in business administration or a related field
