KOMPAN is a world leader in the industry and is now searching for a Regional Sales Manager to join our international sales team based at our headquarter in Odense, Denmark. We are experiencing great growth in our global business and have most recently opened new sales offices in the Middle East and South America.
Responsible for market development
To support our business and the great demand, we are experiencing for our products, we are now searching for a Regional Sales Manager. You will be P/L responsible for your markets in the eastern part of the Mediterranean and new markets in Eastern Europe. As market responsible, it is your responsibility to build, develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives in each market via distributors, agents or Key Accounts and ensure that the markets are covered optimally. Through your ongoing market preparation, you contribute to KOMPAN maintaining its position as not only the world’s largest but also most successful supplier in the global playground and outdoor fitness industry.
You will formulate activity plans for all markets, evaluate and align market strategies with both internal and external market development.
Key Tasks and Experience
You will be responsible for developing existing and new sales channels. Your key tasks include:
In developing KOMPAN distributors, you will ensure that all distributors understand KOMPAN’s vision, values, concepts and sales model. Your role is to challenge and improve both the business model used by distributors as well as the sales and marketing efforts made by distributors. You will ensure that our chosen distributors dedicate sufficient resources in order to maximize the value of the potential markets.
You will report to and work closely with our General Manager, Agents and Distributors. Furthermore, you will have a close cooperation with our sales support and group marketing teams.
Your experience
You come with documented experience from distribution and/or agent sales. Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
As a person, you are result-driven and able to cooperate with many different stakeholders. You have a good technical understanding and work in an enterprising manner. You thrive in a performance-oriented culture. You may have experience in project sales, and it would be an advantage to have a background in sales within the construction industry or housing and development.

- Identifying Key Accounts and competitors in your markets
- Developing personal relations with Key Accounts in cooperation with the distributor in the market as well as on your own
- Training partners in products and tools
- Start growth initiatives with our partners
- Ensuring the strongest possible team of partners in your markets
- Budget and sales forecast
- Setting targets and following up on KPIs for agents and distributors

Your experience
You come with documented experience from distribution and/or agent sales. Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- Experience in distributor- and/or agent sales in export markets
- Ready to be challenged in a global, professional and very sales-oriented company
- Motived by representing a robust international brand and having full market responsibility
- A background which makes you capable of working strategically within market development
- English at negotiation level both orally and in writing.
- Approx. 80 days annual travel activity
