The Position In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of Novo Nordisk's cardiometabolic product portfolio to the secondary care sector in Region South (Region Syddanmark + Region Sjælland). Based on a strong Business Ethics mindset, your most important tasks will be the execution of customer-focused activities and the positioning of Novo Nordisk as a preferred partner for relevant stakeholders. You will be responsible for analyzing the customer landscape as well as planning and implementing different approaches to engaging customers on a high professional level. Participation in regional planning, national and international conferences as well as internal projects and work groups will also be a natural part of the role. Other areas of responsibilities will be:
  • Prepare and execute on ambitious regional- and account plans with a focus on win-win solutions for Novo Nordisk and the most important accounts in your area.
  • Drive planning and execution of activities in your district.
  • Segment, target and build strong and long-term relationships with health professionals within the treatment of people with obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease in the secondary sector.
  • Work as part of the cross-functional cardiometabolic sales team (sales, medical, education and market access), to jointly identify needs in the market and jointly develop and implement relevant approaches and activities.
  • Ensure exchange of knowledge about customers in your area with colleagues as well as implementation of multichannel activities and customer journeys through the use of our CRM system.
  • In addition, you will be a central sparring partner in the development of the regional sales strategy as well as market measures that can affect nationally, within the cardiometabolic disease area. Qualifications The ideal candidate has strong sales and communication skills as well as a "can do" attitude and a natural drive to deliver results. The ability to build solid relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders as well as a desire to join and contribute to the success of the entire team are also essential to succeed in this role. In addition, the ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
  • Relevant education at bachelor's level or higher (health science, nursing, pharmacist, medicine, etc.) + passed LIF exam.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales within the pharmaceutical or medical industry or equivalent clinical experience in treating patients with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or obesity.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Danish as well as good English skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • The position will cover Region Southern Denmark (Syddanmark) and Region Zealand (Sjælland), and the relevant candidate can therefore reside in both areas. About the team Cardiometabolic Sales is a newly established unit, that has gathered the previous sales functions within treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity in three regional cross-functional teams and expanded these with education, medical and market access colleagues. In this role you will be part of the team that covers the Regions Southern Denmark and Zealand, consisting of 8 employees and you will report directly to the Field Sales Manager.
