Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager who can contribute by developing our key accounts globally in our Heat/Cooling division.

With direct reference to our Head of Sales, Heat/Cooling you will be a part of a team, that focuses on delivering high quality solutions and services which creates data transparency and increase energy efficiency worldwide. In the position as Senior Key Account Manager, you will get the opportunity to contribute to the ambitious global growth of Kamstrup’s Heat/Cooling business together with the rest of the organization.

Senior Key Account Manager with focus on developing and managing key accounts

In this new established position you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of our largest customer accounts. You will be in charge of acquiring, developing and managing our group-level key accounts and building professional relationship at all levels. Therefore, it is important that you excel in developing long term business results in close collaboration with customer and internal stakeholders.

More specifically your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop ambitious business plans and account strategies
  • Proactively drive customer activities and develop relationships and new business opportunities
  • Drive the positioning of Kamstrup as the obvious value adding solution provider for the selected key accounts
  • Build a pipeline of new KAM opportunities with the potential to create business value for the future
  • Manage professional customer relationships - from lead generation through project support to account development activities
  • Secure execution of the account development plans across relevant internal stakeholders by leveraging on product and service roadmaps

In the job you can expect 60 - 75 travel days per year.

Personality matters
Preferably you hold a Master’s degree and have at least 8 years of professional and international experience working with B2B sales development. Furthermore, you have successfully demonstrated results from a similar position and hereby master the art of business value creation on the basis of your strong experience.

More specifically, it is a requirement that you:

  • Have a proven track record in Key Account Management of e.g. services, solutions and software
  • Have experience from working in an international company and handling customer projects across cultural settings
  • Have solid experience in making and executing business plans and account strategies
  • Have demonstrated strong commercial results in similar roles

Preferable you possess a wide professional network within the heat/cooling industry and know the largest customers herein.

As a person you are outgoing and able to build strong relationship at all levels. You have strong commercial as well as negotiation skills and the ability to maneuver in complex organizations. Moreover, you are driven by the desire for creating results and possess the patience to creating long term results. Finally, you are a strong communicator and a world class presenter while having the ability to engage and build trust at all levels.

You are fluent in English both written and oral.
