With direct reference to our Head of Sales Denmark, you will be a part of a team of 7, that focuses on delivering high quality solutions and services which creates data transparency and increase energy efficiency. We are looking for an equal-minded colleague, who wants to be co-responsible for influencing and executing our go-to-market strategy with focus on expanding the market for submetering business as well as reducing complexity and cost to serve.

Key Account Manager with focus on developing and managing key accounts
In the newly established position as Key Account Manager for Utilities, you will get the opportunity to contribute to the ambitious growth of Kamstrup’s Heat/Cooling and/or water business together with the rest of the sales organization. You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of our largest customer accounts. You will be in charge of acquiring, developing and managing our group-level key accounts and building professional relationships at all levels. Therefore, it is important that you excel in developing long-term business results in close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.

More specifically, your will be:

  • Developing ambitious business plans and account strategies
  • Driving customer activities and developing relationships and new business opportunities
  • Driving the positioning of Kamstrup as the obvious value-adding solution provider for the selected key accounts
  • Building a pipeline of new KAM opportunities with the potential to create business value for the future
  • Managing professional customer relationships - from lead generation through project support to account development activities
  • Securing execution of the account development plans across relevant internal stakeholders by leveraging on product and service roadmaps

In the job you can expect approximately 40 travel days per year.

Personality matters
Preferably, you hold a Master’s degree and have at least 5 years of professional experience working with B2B sales development. Furthermore, you have successfully demonstrated results from a similar position and hereby master the art of business value creation on the basis of your strong experience.

More specifically, it will be considered an advantage that you:

  • Have a proven track-record in Key Account Management of e.g., services, solutions and software
  • Have experience from working in a utility company
  • Already built a wide professional network within the heat/cooling or water industry

As a person, you have strong commercial as well as negotiation skills and the ability to maneuvre in complex organizations. Moreover, you are driven by the desire to create results and possess the patience to create long term results. Finally, you are a strong communicator and a world class presenter while having the ability to engage and build trust at all levels.
