With direct reference to our Head of Aftersales & KAM, you will become part of the Electricity Sales Team, who is responsible for aftersales and direct sales in the Nordics. The team consists of 8 dedicated sales colleagues who value an informal work environment based on openness, trust, and a great sense of humor. The electrical sector is undergoing a rapid change as it must adapt to an increasing demand for solutions that can contribute to green electrification of our societies. Therefore, we aspire to make Kamstrup the preferred partner for customers to support this ongoing innovation and change by offering a wide variety of solutions that can contribute to this.

A job with a focus on long-term partnerships and complex solution selling
In the position as Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for both new- and aftersales of meters, solutions, and services for the dedicated key accounts in Denmark. With your focus on setting the appropriate account pricing and negotiations, you secure long-term improvements of margins, terms and conditions covering the entire solution value chain. You will create, prepare and maintain key accounts and tactical plans while driving account sales and marketing activities.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Ensuring a long-term profitable strategic partnership with large key account customers and a profitable sale to medium sized accounts
  • Being close to the customers’ everyday challenges and future strategy
  • Navigating in complex customer organizations on all relevant levels understanding their internal processes, behavior, and business models
  • Applying a solution-selling approach, adding value for both the customers and Kamstrup
  • Securing the competitive advantage and future evolving for Kamstrup’s solutions

In the job, you can expect up to 10-30 travel days per year.

Personality matters
We are looking for a Key Account Manager who succeeds in navigating and delivering results effectively, despite complexity and ambiguity in long-term sales processes and projects. We imagine that you have a commercial or technical educational background combined with a strong technical curiosity and a commercial mindset. You have +5 years of experience within technical contractual solution B2B sales from industries such as renewable energy, power plant infrastructure, construction industry or similar.

Furthermore, it is considered an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Commercial bidding and negotiation of large complex projects
  • Customers in large global companies as well as small and medium-sized companies
  • Technical knowledge about solutions, preferably electricity meters

As a person, you possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. You can influence C-level customers and ensure buy-in from internal stakeholders whilst working effectively in our matrix organization. Through your high drive and strong sense of ownership, you know how to prioritize your time and when to walk the extra mile for the customer to deliver on your promises.

Lastly, it is a requirement that you both speak and write Danish and English fluently.
