Danimex is growing fast and we are looking for an ambitious Regional Sales Manager for the Africa region. As such, you will be responsible for positioning the Danimex existing portfolio of communication products and solutions as the solutions of choice for our partners and end users. You’ll identify, target, and win new business by building flourishing relationships with existing and potential new resellers, system integrators and end users. You will be comfortable discussing complex projects and tenders where communication products are the heart of the ecosystem. As your relationships mature, your will establish opportunities for upselling, and showcase new products that our customers can rely on for their ongoing operations.

You may expect travel activities of approximately (50% - 60% time).

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain and support our existing distributor network in the African markets.
- Responsible for driving sales in assigned territory and target accounts through communication equipment products and solutions selling.
- Identify strategic areas of growth and develop plans to boost sales, while supporting the delivery of future strategies across the region.
- Develop and enable long-term account plans that highlight strategies to onboard new accounts and grow existing accounts.
- Coordinate the interaction between key customers and Danimex technical resources as needed.
- Analyzing market demand to identify growth opportunities and forecast future sales targets.
- Drive business growth by influencing consultants and end user groups to drive up demand.
- Managing and leading local sales personnel, responsible for development of local team members, and for building up a strong local sales team within the assigned territory
Professional qualifications:
- Key account experience/minimum 8-10 years B2B selling experience in the telecommunication industry focusing on solutions selling.
- Proven understanding of the telecommunication industry, understanding of the Africa market is and big advantage.
- Team player, yet autonomous worker.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining close customer relationships.
- Technical flair.
- An experienced traveler being good at communicating with different cultures – Culturally aware.
- Persuasive, winning mentality.
- Proven ability selling to all levels of an organizations.
- Demonstrated strong account management techniques, including territory planning.
- Proven ability selling to all levels of an organizations.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and partner with internal and external resources.
- Fluent in both English and French (able to speak, write and present is mandatory). Additional languages are an advantage.

- Ability to listen well, communicate and qualify effectively to all levels.
