We are looking for a commercial and communicative Sales Manager to Ministry of Snus in Stockholm

Ministry of Snus is settling for a huge growth in the Swedish market and will establish a Swedish sales organization in Stockholm during the spring of 2022. On their behalf, we are currently looking for a Sales Manager that will play a key role in creating success.

The Job

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for the execution and implementation of the growth strategy together with a team of 11 Field Sales Representatives placed all over Sweden. The role reports directly to the Country Manager and is a part of the management team in Stockholm. Traveling within Sweden to coach your team on regular basis will be required as well as occacional meetings in company HQ in Denmark. In this role, you will need an entrepreneurial mindset, building culture and paving the path for a future success with your sales team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The sales Manager will be accountable for the execution of the field sales strategy, as well as for providing excellent line management to the team in terms of performance, engagement, and development.

  • Establish team targets and develop operational business plans.

  • Collaborate with Head of KAM and Trade Activation Manager to develop an effective pricing structure

  • Proactively seek and utillize new sales channels in line with Ministry of Snus’ strategy

  • Be an active sparring and share best practice to ensure learning and development of the organization.


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on an operational and strategic level


The office is planned to be located in either Liljeholmen or Hammarby Sjöstad. Occacional travels within Sweden and meetings in company HQ in Denmark will be required.

The right profile

We see that our candidate has a powerful and action-based ability to get people to grow. You combine strong analytical and conceptual skills with a well-developed sense of urgency. Furthermore, we see that you should have a well-developed understanding of commercial aspects, together with business acumen and the ambition to achieve and exceed defined (sales) targets. We also see that you are result orientated and have a customer focus with a keen understanding of how to establish networks and develop successful business relations.

As a person we see that you are open and extrovert and that you are flexible in your attitude and approach. We see that you are team oriented and value the company’s interest as well as you are strategic orientated and have an operational approach to the key account discipline.

In this position, creativity by bringing up new ideas and new solutions and showing empathy and understanding for other people is very crucial. A great sense of humour will also be an asset when working at Ministry of Snus.

Professional Experience 

  • Business degree or comparable qualifications. Can be compensated with experience.

  • Experience in managing and developing a salesforce in the Swedish market preferably within the FMCG and mandatory in a branded business. Could be as a Regional Manager or Team Leader.


  • The candidate has a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in management.

  • Strong user in MS Office. Superuser in Excel and powerpoint. Useful with experience in Power BI or likewise.

  • Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken
