One of Cimbria's experienced Key Account Managers will in a few years take a different role, and to ensure a smooth generational change, this position has become vacant. You will be a part of a highly experienced KAM team and report directly to the Sales Director within the business unit.
Support major projects
Over time your responsibility will be to take over the tasks from the current KAM and independently run Cimbria projects in Europe, Africa, and Asia, respectively. In addition, you will also be responsible for supporting the geographically responsible Clusterleads.
Your main tasks are:
To succeed in the short term, you need to take ownership of a number of cases and drive them through. Also, you will secure involvement of internal competencies and manage schedules and overviews in relation to Tenders. Finally, you contribute to achieving the region's goals.
Solid experience with heavy project sales
You have a technical background, which enables you to understand engineering layout and process flow in large projects. In addition, you have in-depth insight in Capex and process equipment. If you have a craftsman background, it will be an advantage. You have good understanding of sub-processes and the ability to take risk out of projects on behalf of the customer. All in all, you have solid experience with heavy project sales. You are able to communicate with customers at both management level as well as at a technical level and understand the importance of having a close dialogue. It is natural for you to follow up closely on both customers and offers, and you will at some point build and expand your own customer platform. You are well-founded in solution sales as a method, e.g. SPIN with a focus on ROI and TCO, and are motivated by taking co-responsibility for the regional budget and support broadly throughout the region in connection with customer opportunities. You use CRM in your daily sales work and possess excellent communication skills in both Danish and English.
In general, you have a passion for what you do and are ready to make an extra effort to achieve your goals. You thrive with both short- and long-term goals and is a robust person with a good understanding of other people's reaction patterns. Your closest stakeholders see you as a socially engaging person and as a team-player who seeks to inform and involve others. Finally, you have a great attention to detail and are proactive in relation to decision-making processes based on financial considerations.

- Sales to engineering and "heavy" factory managers and subcontractors to large general contractors operating the major projects
- Prepare and present solutions to management
- Support around the major projects in each cluster, besides being KAM
- Design contract, engineering contract
- Handling of large projects which are defined based on complexity and turnover (5-20 million Euros)
