As our new Sales Manager you will play a key role in our dynamic global team with special focus on taking sales responsibility for a selected group of accounts in Europe. These customers primarily consist of international container lines being refrigerated container operators of varying size.

You will be joining a company that is making a positive contribution to meet global environmental and energy reduction challenges. Our record of pioneering innovation and proven solutions are highly regarded in the market – now also with “smart” reefer containers.

Key responsibilities


As Sales Manager – Europe you will be part of our engaged sales team, where you will be reporting directly to our Director Global Sales & Service, who is based in Denmark (Tinglev). You will be placed mainly in Holland or Belgium and should expect travel activities within Europe and to our HQ in Tinglev, Denmark.

This is an international role focusing on sales in Europe as well as establishing new and maintaining existing customer relationships.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for

• Selling MCI’s full portfolio of cold-chain products – the Star Cool reefer, controlled atmosphere system, MCI reefer box and our newly launched Sekstant® digital connectivity system
• Account management and business relationship development within Eu-rope
• Winning new customers, retaining/growing existing customers and in-creasing customer satisfaction.
• Networking within the reefer container industry in the region
• Presenting and demonstrating technical cold-chain solutions and their tangible commercial value.

We are looking for


You possess a relevant background, such as a commercial bachelor's degree with experience in a technical context, or an engineering/technical education combined with a commercial career. You have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of refrigeration and/or digitalization technology is a plus as well as familiarity with the reefer container industry. The role requires extensive communication in English, so fluency is essential. Proficiency in Spanish or French is an advantage but not required.

You have strong negotiation skills and have a keen ability to understand precisely what the customer needs. Building relationships with both external and internal contacts and stakeholders comes naturally to you, and you easily connect with others. You are highly driven and take ownership of the tasks and projects assigned to you with ease.
