Account Manager – Denmark, Norway and Iceland

As Account Manager at Intralox you will be responsible for managing and developing the existing and new customers in Denmark, Norway and Iceland. Your primary role will be to engage with customers and communicate Intralox’s offerings in the markets with an emphasis on solution selling and long-term relationships with the customers.
With direct report to the Team Leader, MPS EMEA you will be a part of a team of 12 Account Managers. You will be responsible for customer relations within the Meat, Poultry and Seafood industries. With the responsibility for all sales activity in Denmark, Norway and Iceland, you will be a close business partner for both end-users and OEM customers.
Your main tasks are:
You are experienced within account management and have knowledge and/or experience within the food industry. You are independent, self-motivated and proactive in daily work activities. You are equally strong in building relations and corporation, both face to face and more remotely e.g. though teams. With a commercial mindset and a committed and results-driven personality, you are used to tight deadlines. You have great communication skills and the ability to think ahead in relation to forecasts and future sales possibilities. You also possess good negotiating skills, understanding of economics and risks, and a structured mindset in regards to contract negotiation.
You are likely to be an engineer within the line of production, machine, marine, technology processes or similar, supplemented with thorough commercial experience as well as commercial courses and/or education.
You are a person with great interpersonal skills, both internally across the organization as well as externally. You are used to close collaboration between departments. You are active in making new contacts and are used to structured working methods and you study details to obtain an overview.

Travelling: 60-70% throughout the market territories.

- Managing and further developing of existing and new customers
- Defining the overall market potential, annual business plan and forecast
- Implementing proactive territory management to best maximized time and resources to grow business
- Maintaining frequent contact with the target accounts (End-users & OEMS)
- Developing sales strategy and targets within MPS
