Do you want to direct and oversee an organization’s sales policies, objectives, and initiatives? We are looking for a sales manager, who will set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs. You will become part of a dynamic environment in a company focused on building monopiles and transition pieces for the offshore wind industry joining Titan Wind Energy.
Titan Wind Energy (Suzhou) was founded in 2005 and 5 years later successfully listed at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Titan Wind Energy is a global supplier of towers for on- and offshore wind turbines, having its European headquarters in Varde, Denmark, under the name of Titan Wind Energy (Europe) A/S. In 2019 Titan Wind Energy acquired a production facility in Germany. Titan Wind Energy (Germany) GmbH, which is a 100% subsidiary to Titan Wind Energy (Europe) A/S. With the experience from the facility in Cuxhaven, in the North Sea area of Germany, with an ideal location for future demand within the offshore wind industry and the many years of experience from tower production in Varde, Denmark, Titan Wind Energy will be able to utilize the synergies and knowhow to create a strong set up for the future.
After taking over the production facilities in Cuxhaven Titan Wind Energy are ready to build their new focus area within offshore foundations for the increasing market within the offshore wind industry. Titan Wind Energy is therefore not only offering an interesting position but a career with great potential, you’ll be able to work with colleagues and customers from Germany, Denmark, China etc. in large scale offshore projects and develop yourself and the company.
The position is located in Cuxhaven, Germany alternatively in Varde, Denmark.
• Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analysing trends, and results
• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
• Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
• Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
• Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
• Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward, and individual recognition
• Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly
• Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals
• Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them
• Great knowledge of relevant players in the offshore wind industry
• Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Excellent communication skills
• Stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to take leadership and ownership
