Vitabalans is a family-owned pharmaceutical company with its headquarters in Finland. It operates in 14 countries across Europe with its 240 employees. Vitabalans is one of the top three pharmaceutical companies in Finland and are looking to expand their already established presence in Denmark. Therefore, they are looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager for their Danish office.
Your role
As the newly appointed Sales and Marketing Manager you will hold a key position in Vitabalans’ success in Denmark, since it is important that you maintain and take care of Vitabalans’ existing clients, as well as making new sales. However, the big chain clients in their current portfolio are of high priority. Vitabalans are looking for a salesperson who gets motivation from being out in the field and expanding their sales with existing clients. It is a position that requires a hands-on approach as you will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities in Denmark.
The job tasks include:
All the export countries have similar sales and marketing strategies. Therefore, you will not be involved in the larger strategic scope, but rather ensure that the strategies are implemented, and in doing this you will be working closely with the Danish Product Specialist who has an in-depth knowledge of marketing. Furthermore, all communication with HQ will be in English, so a high proficiency is important.
Your Background
In this role you need to be independent, solution-oriented and hands-on as you will have to take on responsibility and complete assignments on your own. Your motivation and willingness to learn and grow with the company are valued very highly. We expect that you hold a relevant degree within sales and/or Marketing. Also, it is a plus if you have experience working within the industry.

- Implementing the sales strategies from HQ independently to the local market.
- B2B sales with a focus on Vitabalans’ recurring clients and chain shops.
- Managing and overseeing the yearly budgets for sales and marketing.
- Growing the market persistently in the long term according to the sales and marketing plan.
- Act as a supervisor for the growing local team.
- Report to HQ in collaboration with the Export Manager.
